It can be a very worrying time especially if you have not been involved in the Criminal Legal System before.  We recognise this and our team will do their utmost to advise and guide you through these difficult times.  
 
We have a Criminal Legal Aid Contract awarded to us by the Legal Aid Agency and therefore can apply for Legal Aid on your behalf. The criteria for whether you qualify are based on your means and the merits of the case. We provide fixed fees for private paying clients and those fees can be agreed in advance.

Neil Evans qualified as a solicitor in 1993 and previously practiced in areas of Law including civil litigation, personal injury and criminal litigation in one of Cardiff's largest law firms. He now specialises in criminal work at Evans & Co. He has over 30 years experience in criminal litigation and founded Evans & Co in 2005. He has obtained the Higher Rights of Audience qualification meaning he is not only able to conduct advocacy in the Magistrates Court but also in the Crown Court jurisdiction. Neil continues to represent those in police custody on a daily basis and is a qualified Duty solicitor.

Stephanie Evans qualified as a Solicitor in  2000 and has specialised in Criminal Litigation since then.  She practiced in London for a number of years gaining valuable experience defending clients in criminal proceedings.  She joined Evans & Co in 2007 and as well as representing those in police custody on a daily basis, she is an advocate for Magistrates Court proceedings and is a qualified Duty Solicitor and the Practice Manager of Evans & Co.
